He graduated from the 17-week GE General Management Program earning the equivalent on an executive MBA. He spent his early years at General Electric Medical where he successfully launched the GE CAT scanner in Europe. At Picker, he was the VP & GM of the MRI division, thus contributing to the launch of a new high technology MRI product. He started the Picker European Division in 1991 and successfully launched several new products in a very competitive European medical marketplace. As VP, Marketing and Sales, at Cytogen Corporation, a biotechnology company, he developed and implemented the marketing strategy for the launch of a new prostate cancer diagnostic. He has also worked extensively in the Far East having formed joint venture companies in Japan, China and India.
